Very poor customer service for a premium price. Ruined us the whole summer last year as we were dependent on their commitments with project delivery dates. Had to re-negotiate all consequential works i.e. roof renovation, terrace building, scaffolding, exterior and interior paining. Very bad communicatoin. EDIT: I see the Owner blamed materials suppliers in his responce, which is not true. I have emails which refers to woodwork specialist simply left their company. The project had to be delayed,impacting all other projects. I had to re-plan the whole renovation of the other parts of the building, plus to paint the windows late autumn, during the rain season, instead of summer. The windows installation team left the house in a mess, everything covered in dust and debries. When I asked about cleaning and preventive measures, as it is normally should be done, the answer was: "we are not cleaning company but builders."

While they delivered what was promised on the window side, the interior finishings were not done with the greatest attention to detail and further work is required (from other company) to make the work finally look neat also from the inside. In addition, the windows have some stains in between the glasses (double glazed) which I will never be able to remove and make them look dirty in some spots, and other stains on the outside which I cannot clean and will need to rely (and pay) another company to thoroughly clean these stains that don't simply wash away. In addition the front windows are hard to lift and while they re-installed them to try and help make them lighter, the final result is still short of my expectations. Perhaps if they communicated to us more clearly since the negotiation phase that we would not get light windows to lift up if we moved to double glazing, we would have opted for other alternatives which they did not offer. So overall a good job but not 100% satisfied.

If you want to be treated unprofessionally and to be spoken to unrespectfully, definitely consider using this one-man show. Apparently if you do not have a villa in Benoordenhout, you are not entitled to have a secure transfer of keys but they will put them in the mailbox. They seem not to comprehend that 'putting the keys in the mailbox' is less secure than handing them over personally. We do not ask them to go out of their way. We solely request to hand over the keys to us personally instead of putting them in the mailbox which is, for obvious reasons, also better for them as they are responsible for the keys until we receive them. But the latter seems to be very difficult to understand for Jeffrey, which is quite sad.
