Bad contractor, without service. We had an extension installed 10 years ago, which has settled over the years, pulling out the neighbors' facade. This is due to incorrect construction/anchoring by the contractor. Mr. Maat then came to have a look and said, too bad, the warranty expired 4 months ago. Because it was a fairly small job, I asked the Maat company if they would repair it for a fee, but he did not want to correct his own work, guarantee out the door. Fortunately, I found a good contractor who was willing to correct my facade. The Maat company did not provide me with any craftsmanship or good service. Furthermore, they were going to install a sliding door in my extension, but that later turned out not to be possible, so the old facade had to be reused, but it was also not installed properly, resulting in gaps in the door, resulting in a lot of draft in the winter (I did receive a small discount at the time), but I would have preferred a well-placed facade. Unfortunately this did not work out. I would not recommend this contractor!

During the initial consultation, Maat stood out positively for his can-do attitude and ready technical knowledge. When his quoted price turned out to be lower than those of his competitors, they warned us that we could expect additional work. This did happen in some cases, but I prefer additional work based on facts rather than a surcharge upfront as a safety margin. Other positive points were the pleasant and open communication, the rapid scaling up of work when necessary, and the enormous help from Maat's regular architect in designing the garage and shed. Some things didn't go so well, but this was often because Maat was unable to work with his regular subcontractors on time, or at all, due to the overall busy construction season combined with the summer holidays. All in all, I am very satisfied with the renovation of the garage, shed, bathroom, and toilet that Maat carried out.

Company does not take customers seriously, contacted the company several times since April for a quote and appointment. Employee Maatbv. indicated that he would immediately send an email back and call back. Never happens. Called for the 4th time today and he said he would call back. Never heard anything again.

Very professional and worked entirely according to (tight) planning.

A major renovation of our house was carried out excellently by the Maat company from Vlaardingen. Excellent work done and everything neatly executed, a few minor issues during delivery that were resolved quickly and properly. A recommendation!
