It seemed to me that Jorritsma Bouw Bolsward would be a reasonable company, but it increasingly seems to me like a demolition company, if things have to be built, then a number of things will usually have to be demolished and if they cannot do that themselves, you have to hire companies for that, which this company also does, but does not take responsibility for it, so people who have been working on Jorritsma's subcontractors are left with major damage for which Jorritsma takes no responsibility. If I were you I would never, ever hire this company

5 years ago they completed a great house. Now all residents have loose pieces coming out of the ceiling. No face but also fear. Where does this stop? There was no response to an email exchange to look at it and do something about it. Now formal and registered. Hopefully no more procedures will be initiated.

I've read many positive reviews of Jorritsma Bouw. I've had very bad experiences. You don't notice it for the first few years after completion, but after 15 years, my Jorritsma house has the following defects (construction errors noted), of which only the leaking windows have been repaired under the glassmaker's warranty: I'll mention them in order of occurrence: 2 years - many double-glazed windows are leaking and will be replaced, but I have to repair and paint the glazing bars and damaged woodwork myself. 6 years - a large part of the fascia board on the front of the house is rotten, plus a rotten spot in the first-floor window frame. Jorritsma GIW hasn't repaired it since. 8 years - back door sill is rotten. 10 years - sewer leak, a huge amount of sludge and a bad smell under the house. It turns out the sewer under the utility room floor (the dump tank wasn't cleaned) wasn't capped. Rotten fascia boards and gutters on the sides and back of the roof. 15 years - due to the garage's narrow eaves, frost has damaged the masonry, loosening the bricks and causing water to seep into the roof timbers. Meanwhile, I've had thousands of euros in repairs over the past 15 years. Jorritsma never responded, except to say the warranty had expired. How reliable and reputable a construction company is?

Furthermore, the new lock suits us perfectly and thanks for the quick and excellent mechanic from Franeker who was so kind to get us out of an extremely precarious situation and yet again to a fantastic result.
