3 repairs are out...I have been waiting for more than 6 months...it takes a long time and appointments are very poorly kept

We had a leak in the drain deep in the concrete in our bathroom. We reported this via our intermediary Amstelgeld Verzekeringen and they forwarded this to our insurer Nationale Nederlanden. Nationale Nederlanden had Polygon carry out a leak detection for us, but they could not find the leak. Nationale Nederlanden then called in Gils Bouw to solve the leak. And Gils Bouw has called in another subcontractor and he has called in all kinds of other parties to solve things for us. For example, they hired a plumber who never had time and did sloppy work. And this subcontractor then hired a Turkish subcontractor who then sent Turkish Poles and Russians to us who did not speak a word of Dutch, English or German. These people then had to repair and install our bathroom. There were also more people involved, but I don't know what their role was in the whole thing? So I won't mention any names further. It took over 5 months for our bathroom to be finished and it's not good at all!!! Everything is ruined and not made right!! Tiling is bad and everything you can do wrong is done wrong. Gils Bouw never contacted us and no one took responsibility. We also had to pay a lot of extra money even though we were insured for this. Gils Bouw has never said what money Nationale Nederlanden has paid out? So no transparency at all. In short, 5 months in misery by Gils Bouw!!! And National Netherlands. But 2 weeks ago I suddenly received a call from a new employee of Gils Bouw asking if everything had gone according to plan and was ready. I told her the story and she would discuss it internally. But never heard anything about this again. It is scandalous how we were treated and I can advise everyone never to do business with Gils Bouw.

They go to work at the neighbors, but also work partly on my land, put some things aside for that and leave again without putting anything back. Antisocial. Says something about the professionalism. I would look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, they do not fully understand the meaning of communication and making agreements. We had to wait for the skirting board of the kitchen. They would let us know when they would come by. Suddenly there is a skirting board in front of the door (in the rain). Without having called or contacted them. When we call for an explanation, they cannot give us one. They only come to install the skirting board 4 weeks later. We have had several more communication problems with them. Unfortunately, you cannot count on this!

Two lovely men came to our house for two days to install and tile a wall between the bathroom and the toilet. They said they had only been working for a week. They were friendly and professional and did a great job! Good luck with your future careers at Gils Bouwservice! Thank you so much!
