This is an honest review of my experiences with Kistemakerbouw BV. They spent 15 months (yes 15) doing the foundation renovation work next door to my house for a four story vertical. What I’ve experienced over these months is truly jaw-dropping. Let’s list the ways… Their construction vibrations caused over 50 cracks within our house (for which insurance admitted and they had to pay for).They take up four parking spots in front of our building, including the space in front of our door sometimes blocking our ability to exit our own house. They use a minimal amount of workers on doing the foundation and renovation. The workers drill non-stop at 70 decibels for days, even sometimes before allowed work hours. They have also been quite inconsiderate and leave a mess of rubble behind. They attached scaffolding to my roof terrace and on the ground of the neighbor’s garden without asking for permission. This scaffolding was there for a minimum of 2 months. The owner of the construction company promised to clean up afterward and to fix our zinc (since they were fixing the adjacent on the roof) to compensate for the inconvenience . The cleaning or the fix never happened. We have rubble on parts of our roof we can’t physically get to. If I call them they hang up on me. They are unresponsive over email. If I were you I would stay away and not trust this company with my business. A neighbor on the street did the same work with another company and was done in 4 months without any complaints from anyone.
