Seven months ago I had an air conditioner and solar panels installed. The solar panels seem to be fine, but the installation of the air conditioner had several problems. Firstly, the hole in the wall for the pipes was not sealed with foam, despite my repeated requests. This caused draft and wind noise when the ventilation was on. The temperature sensor of the air conditioner, placed near the open hole, registered the outside air — sometimes with a deviation of 10°C — which caused the room to overheat. A technician came once, but he only sealed one side of the wall, which was insufficient for my double wall. In the end I had to fill it with foam from the inside myself. Secondly, the sun and wind sensor that controls my sun blinds was broken during installation. Just getting compensation for that sensor was a lot of effort. In the end I rented a high ladder myself and replaced the sensor, because the team was always “too busy” and showed no interest in solving it properly. Now in the summer it turns out that the €3,000 air conditioner cannot get the room below 23°C when the sun is shining on the windows — not even at outside temperatures around 20°C. I have been trying to reach another coordinator for a warranty check for almost three weeks via phone and WhatsApp, but my request is ignored. There is rarely a response and nothing is ever scheduled. I now assume that in practice there is no real support or warranty.
