I won't give you a single star. It is downright scandalous that a company like Van der Burg, which was given a major contract at the time to install advanced air systems in all homes – which in our case is not functioning properly – now simply states: "we will not do anything about it", because an additional contract was once offered that we did not take up. This is evidence of particularly poor service and a total lack of responsibility. As a supplier of an essential system that is part of the home, you may expect that at least some thought will be given to it or a solution will be sought. Instead, they immediately pass the buck and point to old contract conditions. That is not customer-oriented and certainly not professional.

Leaving customers out in the cold, both literally and figuratively! Calling back to give a simple yes or no about whether you'll visit a 91-year-old customer (since the 70s) (who, due to this company's COVID regulations, couldn't get maintenance/cleaning in 2020 and therefore doesn't have a service contract) because the heating hasn't been working since Sunday is truly outrageous, stringing someone along and then saying a day later that you won't be coming! A private customer is probably beneath them; at the company I worked for, they had plenty of time for that!

Disgraceful service, or actually no service at all. I bought a house in Lisse at the beginning of this year, which has a ventilation system with heat recovery. The stickers on the device indicate that J vd Burg has been doing maintenance on this system for more than 10 years, so I called them and asked if they could put the maintenance contract for the building in my name so that the maintenance could simply be continued. The previous owner cancelled at the beginning of this year. The otherwise very friendly lady on the phone indicated that they unfortunately have a customer stop and therefore cannot help me. Now I can imagine that it is very busy and that they would be better off saying no at the front door than not being able to deliver the promised service, but in this case it simply concerns an existing contract. The fact that the company has been doing maintenance on this installation for years apparently does not count. Very bad customer experience, so I am going to look for another company and advise you to do the same, even when times get tougher for the industry and there is room for new customers.

Disgraceful treatment by this company. We were a customer for 26 years, and this company handled the annual maintenance and installation of our central heating boiler. We were actively contacted every year to arrange maintenance. This year, we heard nothing, so I contacted them myself. It turns out that Van der BURG doesn't have enough certified staff to maintain our boiler, but installing a new one wasn't a problem. They didn't even consider finding an alternative solution. After a 26(!) year relationship, this is disgraceful treatment. Van der BURG clearly not only has its affairs in order, but can also afford to treat its customers this way.

Just had maintenance done on the CV again. The technician was very friendly, tidied up the items and worked quickly.
