Good service still exists. 15 years after installing our zinc roof, the front (fascia) of our garage was rotten. The hardwood, which is encapsulated with zinc work, was wet and rotted over almost the entire width of the front of the garage. We have had various parties look into this for advice, as it is not easy to look under the zinc to see what is going on. The advice was often: "I would replace the entire roof..." Together with a total of 3 people, we did a number of tests with the garden hose and managed to determine the origin of the water (at the top of the roof). A plan has been drawn up together with "Ridder Skins For Buildings" to make the connection between the zinc roof and the window frames watertight. This previously turned out to be an architectural error. The rotten fascia has now been replaced by a new fascia with a galvanized base on the inside, which no longer rots. The construction error was completely resolved through investigation and tenacity from "Ridder Skins For Buildings" and tested again for leak tightness. The previously issued quote for the repair was maintained and they provided extremely expert advice for a 100% solution.
