The hosts of De Horst were absolutely lovely, they welcomed us in, feds us amazing breakfasts and helped out whenever we had a problem. Truly a lovely quiet beautiful part to spend quality time exploring

It is a small holiday park and it depends entirely on the house whether you enjoy it there. Weidezicht is beautifully situated with a view over the meadows. However, the finish inside is terrible: I had to close the gaps between windows and frames with kitchen roll to block the wind, which did not help as the underside of the kitchen unit is not finished and is in direct contact with the outside air. With the central heating at 23 degrees, it remains ice cold inside. Bedding feels wet. Slippers do not keep your feet warm as the wind blows along the ground and the cobwebs hang waving in the wind indoors. Showering is an adventure with a defective rain shower that only functions as a waterfall, while with the hand shower it is impossible not to spray the entire bathroom. The breakfast is well organized, but if you stay longer than one day you will not receive new towels. Make sure you have a flashlight with you if you want to leave the site in the dark, because the houses lack lighting and there are a few lampposts on the outside road. Also useful for avoiding all the thatching company's junk lying around on the driveway. Incidentally, it is said afterwards that renovations are being carried out in phases, but it is better to hear something like that in advance. However, it does not look like anything will change in the foreseeable future. No permanent parking space for the car (place it somewhere between the houses) and impossible to reach the house without mountains of sand under your shoes.

Very nice b&b, beautiful surroundings. We spent 1 night here because of a party in the area, the house is beautifully and comfortably furnished. The breakfast was superb and more than sufficient!

The furnishings and habitability vary greatly from house to house. Weidezicht is really not finished yet. Bathroom is a drama. Tiles not grouted, when you shower everything gets wet, there is a draft everywhere in the entire house. Still, you have to pay the full price. Not correct in my opinion. Another house (sheepfold) was better. Neat and complete. Bathroom not attached there either. So sloppy.

Number of times. All houses good!! Sheepfold👍 Farm👍 Cozy, beautiful surroundings. Rest! Prices 👍 So go there! Dog loved it there too.
