I have an unusual roof, covered in slates containing asbestos. Many contractors didn't even want to start the job. I contacted Gelders Dakherstel through word of mouth. I received a clear quote. I knew in advance that my turn would be in five months, but then they showed up. The scaffolders suddenly showed up at my door before the job started, which was unexpected. In three weeks, the asbestos slates were replaced, the insulation replaced, and new synthetic slates were installed. Everything was meticulously planned, thoughtful, and meticulously worked. The men were friendly and everything was left tidy. Communication with Andrea at the office was pleasant. I received a detailed quote and invoices for the subsidy application. You have to clearly indicate this in advance. Only a finishing edge needs to be done, but otherwise, I'm very happy with how it went and the end result! My current job is simple (flat roof replacement), and I have to call weekly for a quote. That could be improved. But I know that when they come, they'll do an excellent job.

At the beginning of March, the roof of our 1970s home in Driebergen was completely replaced, including a roof beam that was rotten. There is real personal contact at Gelders Dakrenovatie: Jan came by to take on the job, Andrea was our contact person on the case. Always pleasant contact and our wishes were listened to. They also came with professional equipment on the days of the job and we were properly assisted and involved in the work. I definitely recommend Gelders Dakrenovatie!

Had roof tiles and battens replaced. Very satisfied. They work neatly and are well-coordinated. They know what they're doing.

1 star, because it has to be! Requested a quote -> After weeks a representative came by -> Did not receive a quote, so asked again. -> Response: "we have decided not to make you an offer" (see photo). No explanation or reason!!! Invested half a day in receiving a VT and (too) much effort as a potential customer to get an offer. Arrogant and poor communication. But fortunately there are enough companies that are happy to accept the assignment and carry it out perfectly.

Roof renovation neatly carried out, all old tiles + battens removed and a new roof installed including; insulation foil, new battens, ventilating frosts, roof base finishing, lead and new keel gutters. Work was neatly delivered. If I had to mention one point for improvement, it would be communication in advance. A little more clarity about what and when would complete it. Furthermore; satisfied!
