Boko replaced the roof of our 8 condos last year. Part of the job was to install new skylights. During the replacement of the skylights there was rain that caused a leakage into my condo. Because of this some furniture had some damage and my concrete floor was damaged. I was willing to forgive the damage to my furniture but the damage to the floor was pretty significant and difficult to fix. Boko came by to check the damage. They took some photos and acknowledged that the water stains on my floor were caused by the leakage. Their first strategy to avoid responsibility after this was to send someone over and tell us how sorry they are about the damage and that they will do anything to help us fix it. After this comforting visit they just disappeared. Ignoring our texts and emails. This was repeated several times. Almost a year later, they have sent a concrete floor expert. They came to the conclusion that the damage to my floor was not caused by water but by sunluight. This is absurd for two reasons: 1. They already admitted that the damage was caused by the leakage 2. There is no sun where the floor was damaged. Let us see what happens next. Is it really true that a big professional company like BOKO will be silly enough to not take ownership of this relatively small incident?
