About three years ago, we bought a beautiful house with yellow bricks. However, the exterior walls were very dirty; they looked black instead of yellow. We contacted several companies to have the walls cleaned, but unfortunately, they couldn't get it right until we contacted Imhoff Voeg- en Straalbedrijf. Their communication was excellent, and their advice was very clear. They offered us various methods and provided helpful advice. They also set up several test areas with the different methods so we could assess the potential results and decide which method to use. We opted to have the walls sandwashed, and they were able to get them completely clean again! The mortar was also completely removed and repointed. Our house looks beautiful again, especially with the new mortar. True craftsmanship, the guys at Imhoff. Thank you!

Last year I had the facade of my house from 1905 repointed with a cut joint. A number of black bricks had to be colored. Since then, the black bricks have been dripping orange chemical after every rain shower, and the joints are now grayish orange. Even after a year, the process continues. Imhof himself does not know how that is possible. I think that says something about the craftsmanship. Furthermore, almost all the bricks have been chiseled to pieces with a chisel that is too large and they have made the butt joint as thick as the rest. The facade looks like a funfair. Every time I walk to my front door, I am deeply saddened by the mutilation of my beautiful house. Broken is broken and it will never be right again; bricks simply do not heal. I have thought long and hard about whether I should write this review, but I am confronted with this misery every day and the company is no longer bothered by anything.

Our rear facade was clearly in need of renovation. The Imhoff team did a perfect job. The old mortar was professionally removed, the facade was thoroughly cleaned in an environmentally friendly way, beautifully repointed, and finally, carefully sealed.
