Our house, which is almost 30 years old, still had classic double glazing. (37!! windows) We thought it would be wise to replace this with HR++ given the current gas prices. Requested a few quotes and the glass guard came by to take measurements on site. Price-wise, there were no major differences between the various providers and "glass guard" gave a good impression. They were able to place after 3 weeks. Unfortunately, 2 windows turned out to be the wrong size so they had to be reordered. These were to be installed after 3 weeks, but unfortunately (again) a window was broken during transport. They put a lot of pressure on the supplier and after 3 days the last window could be installed. What struck me in a positive way was the very good back office. Plans were clear and agreements were kept properly. There are plenty of companies that can't match that. The windows were installed properly and smoothly by a nice and knowledgeable team of technicians. So very satisfied. Small point of attention... please finish the corners a little neater when sealing. Saves the painter (i.e. me) some post-processing

I am very satisfied with the fitter who installed a single pane of glass for us. It was installed and sealed within half an hour... but... the bill was disappointing. They charge 1.5 hours of hourly wages for half an hour of work and also call-out charges. When I called about this, they said on the phone that the call-out charges are the costs for 'answering the phone and directing the fitters' and that 1.5 hours were charged because he also had to drive to us. So: half an hour of work and an hour of travel expenses. Then a single pane of glass of €15.00 + €25.00 material costs excluding VAT becomes quite expensive, namely (€200,-). Apparently this company is not clear about what call-out charges are exactly and also not that they are legally obliged to report these additional costs in advance. The actual call-out charges that they conveniently include in the hourly rate are based on guesswork: it is less than a 10-minute drive. Checking is also difficult, because the website does not mention rates and general terms and conditions, etc. In short: in my experience there is nothing wrong with the quality of the work and the workers, but do ask about the rates and/or conditions in advance.

Living room windshield replaced and completely satisfied. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Neat finish. Clearly lowest price of the 3 requested quotes. Very happy with the choice for this company.

I have been there twice to discuss the measurements. I have to follow up each time. The gentleman who lost his voice was very unprofessional and rude. I was shocked by his unprofessional attitude. The company really has a lot to learn! I would not recommend anyone here! Terrible.

Today, De Algemeen Amersfoortse Glaswacht B.V. installed a new HR++ window in my home. I am very satisfied with my first experience with De Glaswacht. They arrived promptly within the agreed time frame and installed the window neatly and finished it neatly. The staff were friendly and professional.
