Unprofessional communication and misleading quote We have requested a quote for replacing the glass in the house. Both the front and rear of the house. Paardekooper measured the entire house, both the front and back. It was strange that we received a second invoice without the VAT amount included. This is not common and very misleading. After we agreed to the quote, there was complete silence for more than a month and a half. We received no confirmation and no communication about the schedule. Ultimately we had to contact us ourselves to ask whether our confirmation had been received. Then we suddenly received a call saying that the glass would be installed within two days. To our great surprise, only the rear of the house was installed, while we had explicitly requested a quote for the entire house. When we raised this, it was dismissed as a misunderstanding. And we were told that we should have included the dimensions and number of windows in the quotation ourselves. Very special. They then even denied that they had measured the entire house, while we are sure of that. Because we were informed about the placement 2 days in advance, we were not able to make the payment. My mother does not pay digitally but via written giro. As if Paardekooper had not made enough mistakes, my 80-year-old mother received a call from Edward with the threatening message that he would come and remove the glass again if the payment was not made quickly. This is unacceptable and inappropriate behavior. Threatening an 80 year old woman. Shameless! The only positive thing about this company was the friendliness and helpfulness of the technicians who came to install the glass. But the communication, reliability and customer friendliness of this company are hard to find.

I quickly needed a few glass plates for a set of outdoor lamps. I arrived unexpectedly and 10 minutes later I walked out of the store with new glass plates. I'll add them to my list of handyman companies I'd like to hire.
