It was scorching hot this spring, especially in the attic where we have an office. Van Eersel already serviced the boiler and also provided good advice on installing an air conditioner. A portable air conditioner is only half the job with the window half open. It's been really productive, and it also makes a difference upstairs near the children's bedrooms when it's sweltering. The technician was friendly, and everything was left clean.

When installing the sewer penetration in the roof, the technicians left the rubbish in the gutter and the front garden. When the ventilation unit was moved, it stopped working. On the advice of Van Eersel, an electrician was called in, who came to the conclusion that there was nothing wrong with the electricity. The error lay in the installation. Contacted Van Eersel about this as it was a working unit before it was moved. First reaction was that their technician had not touched the electrical system. When I indicated that the unit no longer worked after it was moved by their technician, it would be discussed again. To date no response has been received. Out of necessity, we now called in another company who immediately identified the problem. I have no problem with the fact that mistakes are made, that is human and can be resolved through consultation. But I think the lack of communication is extremely bad.

At the beginning of this year (2024), we signed a maintenance contract with this company for central heating boiler and air conditioning maintenance! So far no problem. In June, Van Eersel's mechanic carried out all maintenance on one day and we paid the invoice for this. However, immediately after this maintenance, drops of water hang under the air conditioning (indoor unit) and the entire installation malfunctions and causes a short circuit in the meter cupboard. After reporting the incident to the Van Eersel company, the same technician was sent again and he noted that a circuit board was defective, this could happen and I asked to replace it because the temperatures inside and outside had now risen considerably to about 30 degrees +. It then took about 3 weeks and no response from the van Eersel company. After telephone contact about this, after another few weeks of waiting, Pieter van Eersel called with the message that the air conditioning was already defective before his mechanic had carried out the maintenance and he could not get parts and he could no longer do anything about it. This was a very strange sensation for me at a time when the summer temperatures here had risen almost daily to around 30 degrees without air conditioning! I find this course of events very remarkable and very customer unfriendly, I understand that anything can go wrong and making mistakes is human (I also do that regularly), but then solve it. For me, this company will never have to deliver or repair anything again
