The Mohr company is an unreliable installation company with employees who are never eligible to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct. The Mohr company is a bad employer that does not pay its staff or pays it too late and has to fill one financial gap with another. Don't do business with this company if you value your money

On January 23rd, a technician from Mohr visited my property at the request of a tenant to service the central heating boiler. Normally, I use a regular maintenance company for this, but because the tenant was in a hurry due to a required certificate, he called Mohr himself. The situation before Mohr's visit was as follows: an Intergas HRE 24/18 central heating boiler, a functioning CO detector installed next to the boiler. The boiler was fault-free, operational, and the CO detector hadn't triggered an alarm. When the technician finished his inspection, he called me and explained that the boiler had the following problems: a loose flue, a CO leak, a leaking heat exchanger, and an unadjustable gas valve. According to the technician, the boiler was completely broken and beyond repair. When I asked why the CO detector hadn't gone off, he couldn't answer. I noticed that the engineer was speaking rapidly and was throwing a lot of information at me. I immediately suspected he was hiding something. The engineer indicated they could install a new boiler on short notice and that I would receive a quote soon. I received this quote within two hours, and the inspection report five days later. Because I had reservations about this method, which mainly involved increasing pressure to have a new boiler installed quickly, I sent my own staff over an hour later to assess the situation. My staff then noticed that the flue adapter had suddenly turned a quarter turn, causing it to become loose. It had been stuck tight before the engineer arrived. Furthermore, the boiler was malfunctioning; after inspection, it turned out that the ignition cable had been disconnected! When I looked at the quote, I read that the delivery and installation of the boiler cost €3,750. A regular price is anywhere between €1,500 and €1,950, especially since no pipework needed to be moved because the new boiler was identical to the existing one. After inquiring, the (non-technical) tenant indicated that the Mohr technician had placed his meter in the measuring nipple and demonstrated that his meter had measured excessive CO, which was dangerous. Therefore, no measurements had been taken in the living space or around the boiler, which is why the CO detector had never gone off. Another CO-certified company then came by to maintain and inspect the boiler. My request was to take a very critical look at the boiler. You guessed it: there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong. The gas valve was in perfect condition, no leaking heat exchanger, and no CO leaks. We received an official report, and the boiler is good to go for years to come. I find this a scandalous practice. You expect a company to maintain a boiler and then let your tenants use it safely. This company came to demolish my boiler and then gave me an exorbitant quote to try and make a quick buck. To give you an idea: a new central heating boiler costs €850, a flue gas exhaust €100, and some accessories €50. A total of €1000 in materials, plus 4 hours of labor at €90, adds up to a total of €1360. A quote of €1500 to €1750 is a normal market price. A quote of €3750 with the pressure of "so your tenants will have a warm house again quickly" is simply trying to get rich quick at someone's expense. So, I give it a 1 star, but it really should have been a minus 5 stars.

On January 23, a Mohr technician came to my home at the request of a tenant to maintain the central heating boiler. Normally I have a permanent maintenance company for this, but because the tenant has... In order to obtain the required certificate, he himself called Mohr. The situation before Mohr arrived was as follows: Intergas HRE 24/18 central heating boiler, functioning CO detector placed next to the boiler, central heating boiler was trouble-free, was in operation and CO detector had not raised an alarm. When the technician had finished his check, he called me and told me that there were the following problems with the boiler: flue gas discharge was loose, CO leakage, heat exchanger leak and gas block could no longer be adjusted. According to the technician, the boiler was finally broken and beyond repair. He could not answer my question why the CO detector had not gone off. What struck me was that the technician spoke quickly and was firing a lot of information at me, I immediately suspected that he was hiding something. The technician indicated that they could install a new central heating boiler at short notice and that I would receive a quote for it quickly. I received this quotation within 2 hours, the inspection report 5 days later. Because I had my reservations about this method, which mainly increased the pressure to quickly have a new central heating boiler installed, I sent my own staff an hour later to examine the situation. My staff then saw that the flue gas adapter had suddenly been turned a quarter turn and that it was therefore loose. It was still stuck before the technician arrived. In addition, the boiler was malfunctioning, after inspection it turned out that the ignition cable had been pulled loose! When I looked at the quotation I read that the delivery and installation of the central heating boiler cost 3750 euros. A regular price is anywhere between 1500 and 1950 euros, especially because no pipework had to be moved because the new central heating boiler was the same as the existing boiler. After inquiring, the (non-technical) tenant indicated that Mohr's technician sat with his meter in the measuring nipple and then showed that his meter measured too much CO and that that was dangerous. So no measurements had been taken in the living room or around the central heating boiler, which is why the CO detector had never gone off. Another CO certified company then visited to maintain and inspect the boiler. My request was to examine the boiler very critically. You guessed it: there was NOTHING going on AT ALL. Gas block in top condition, no leaking heat exchanger and no CO leakage. Official report received and the boiler can last for years again. So I think this is a scandalous practice, you expect a company to maintain a central heating boiler and that your tenants can then use it safely. This company came by to demolish my boiler and then came with a sky-high quote in order to make quick money. To give an idea: a new central heating boiler costs 850 euros, flue gas discharge 100 euros and some accessories 50 euros. Total material 1000 euros, in addition 4 hours of work at 90 euros, a total of 1360 euros. A quote from 1500 to 1750 is then a normal market price. A quote of 3,750 euros with pressure on it "because then your tenant will quickly have a warm house again" is just trying to get rich quick at someone's expense. So a 1 star from me, but it really should have been minus 5 stars
