We have had an ESSE 1000 X Cooker since February 2024. After much deliberation (between AGA, Thornhill or Esse) we finally ended up at Esse Cookers & Stoves Nederland. We received honest and clear information about the ESSE 1000 Well... we should have done that much sooner. It takes some time to get used to the 'different way' of cooking in the beginning. But after a basic course by Saskia Schepers (on the advice of Esse Cookers & Stoves Netherlands), they quickly mastered the new cooking technique. What a pleasure: no stress while cooking, almost everything goes into the oven (after being brought to the boil on the induction hob). No fear of searing or 'over-cooking' food and, above all, more flavor to the dishes. Thanks to our Esse 1000 And with the solar panels we have now found the perfect balance to cook as much as possible on our own generated energy. (consumption of Esse cooker in sleep mode is less than 0.2 kilowatts per hour). Cooking is also much cleaner compared to cooking on gas: pans stay cleaner and the induction hobs and cast iron plate are (if necessary) wipe clean. So no cleaning the stove every day! Baking bread (2 to 3 times a week) is perfect in the cast iron ovens. After 14 months we had a problem, so we called Esse Cookers & Stoves. Made an appointment with Jelle from Esse Cooker & Stoves and Jelle expertly resolved the fault (in the printed circuit board). The repair was within the warranty period and therefore there were no costs involved. In short, we are very satisfied with our Esse 1000

Since the installation of our ESSE THE IRONHEART more than 14 days ago, In addition to heating the room, we used it daily to: to bake, cook, stew and grill. In all aspects it fully meets our expectations and is next to nothing a nice stove, an excellent stove. It heats up quickly. The 'hubs' are heated and heated immediately after lighting are quickly usable. The heat they can produce is impressive. After an hour, the oven can be used at the highest temperature. The oven heat can be easily regulated and controlled (after some experimenting). It is economical to use and stays warm for a long time. It is not a 'quickly' device; it's for the enthusiasts of traditional food, great for 'slow cooking', with attention and time to create tasty dishes and baked goods. THE IRONHEART is a well thought out design and beautifully finished. To purchase we went to the ESSE dealer in Cuijk.
