Had a bad experience with the company, was portrayed as a liar. Recently had problems with our 3-speed mechanical fan. Winkels sent a technician who indicated that he could not fix the problem, but upon payment of an hourly wage he could not get the fan to work in all 2 settings, but in 2. Agreed and for a payment of 116 euros the fan worked in 2 settings. That worked for exactly 2 weeks and then the device stopped working completely. Called Winkels who claimed that the technician had recommended installing a new fan. This is absolutely not the case. Winkels now advised to have a new fan installed. When we asked whether installation costs could be discussed (because a good technician should have been able to determine 2 weeks ago that the fan had had its day) the response was that it was not horse trading after all.... No understanding whatsoever, no leniency whatsoever and when quoting the price for installing a new fan, they are now asking the top price!!! Too bad, very unfortunate, I have used Winkels quite a number of times in the past to my satisfaction, but this. No thank you.

(A striking detail for me was the strong substantive knowledge of the technicians and their proactive attitude. Based on their own knowledge, they looked for solutions themselves, participated in discussions and tried to solve errors themselves.) I read this on your site and I also agree, mechanics know what they are talking about. But I think they should look for another job because in my opinion the planning is as lax as it can be. I have been calling for six months about a fault in an electrical socket, but now I am simply told that it has (only) been put aside for a while.

Five stars for friendly mechanic Lodewijk who came to see me today to do some jobs for the housing construction. What a great guy! Fast, professional and friendly
