Mebatherm unilaterally amended the contract without informing the customer. I received a bill for €512.77 for less than 30 minutes of work on two HRVs, and the line "including troubleshooting" suddenly disappeared from the invoice. Incidentally, for that amount, they did replace four filters (€10 each). They didn't do much else for that amount; I have video footage of what they did: cover off, filters removed, vacuumed, filters installed, cover replaced. Less than 10 minutes of work per unit x two units = 20 minutes of maintenance for €512.77. They didn't respond adequately to emails, so I hope they will respond now. Incidentally, the contract was approximately €300 per year for two units (2021). That's now more than half the price, and they do less than half the work. I canceled the contract; I can do it myself, and it doesn't cost €17.09 per minute :)

Due to an error on Mebatherm's part, I had to wait a very long time for a piece of product to be replaced. Mebatherm adopted a very rigid attitude and was unable to accommodate anything, even though we incurred a major expenditure with new solar panels and a new central heating boiler. Very dissatisfied with the handling of the problem.

Last week, Mebatherm installed a hybrid heat pump system for us. Even on the coldest November days to date. Apart from a few remaining issues, the dedicated fitters delivered it neatly. It took a while to get the quote, but in this case, given the complexity in combination with a detached house from 1976, quality was paramount and that required the necessary engineering. Ultimately, we received a well-developed and, above all, technically well-thought-out quote. What I see is that the installation sector is having a hard time due to the entire (ill-considered and poorly coordinated energy transition), not least because of the enormous shortage of well-trained technicians. I know from my own experience how big that problem is and that it will not be solved tomorrow either. A lot has to be done, people wanted it yesterday and we expect low prices. Unfortunately, that does not go together (now). In short, satisfied with the progress and the work delivered, with a small critical note.

Read all the bad reviews below. I must honestly say that those were also my first experiences with the company. However, this year, in my opinion, they have made a turnaround. Action is taken, you will be called back, appointments can be made quickly, and the technicians were already good. I had a new boiler installed this year. A considerable investment, but a smooth process. If this continues, I can only imagine that the reviews will also get much better.

Dramatically bad company. We bought a house in 03-2023 with solar panels, micro-inverters, etc. from them. Called to access the system. Answer Mebatherm/ Zon-Slim: No sir, we are not going to do that. This concerns service and we are far too busy with construction to make time for this. I heard this with surprise and indicated that there is still a decades-long warranty on the installation. I called and emailed several times in the following months. No cooperation whatsoever. Ultimately, I became angry and indicated that I would call in the Eigen Huis Association since Mebatherm is an installation partner. Then suddenly something could happen. Received login details from a completely different brand and installation than the one installed at ours. Call and email again. Lots of promises, but nothing delivered. No call back, not the right account, etc. Finally we called the manufacturer and he created an account for us. However, this could not be finalized because the status of the installation was still in progress. So not completed. After calling back and forth between the manufacturer and Mebatherm Zon-Slim, the status was set to completed. Please note that it is now 08-2024! Being able to log in and what appears to be an error message on one of the inverters. Since 2021!! The panel to which the inverter in question is connected last generated energy in 2021. Called Mebatherm Zon-Slim again. Extremely difficult on the phone because they did not have access to the installation. Well, that's what you get when you send customers flying. Note that we now had to grant the installer access ourselves. The manufacturer had indicated that there is probably a defective panel. According to Mebatherm Zon-Slim, this was nonsense and we had to follow a checklist that was on the manufacturer's site. We had already done this ad nauseam. the manufacturer. Sighing and supporting, they indicated that they would have to submit a warranty report. This was 10-2024. It is now the end of 11-2024 and guess what? Heard nothing. Called again and the contact person in question no longer worked for them and it had to be checked first whether he had transferred this file..... Really? Yes really! We will be called back. I no longer have any confidence in this company at all. What a mockery! These types of companies have no right to exist.
