Karyvo Nautische Dienstverlening has been with us from the beginning, and has been involved in development of our products. Karst has renewed the electrics in my Hallberg-Rassy 43; we now have the new generation of Mastervolt Lithium Ion batteries with a total capacity of 1600 Ah on board together with a new Mastervolt Combi Ultra 12/3000/150 charger/inverter. Karst has also converted my existing Volvo Penta dynamo with an Alpha Pro regulator, renewed the fuse box with new earth leakage circuit breakers, renewed the wiring and installed an Easy 5 so that I can monitor everything properly. A new marine radio antenna has been placed in the mast as well as a nice Lopolight. Karst has mounted an Easy AIS transponder below deck to increase safety and visibility, the starter battery has been replaced by a Yellowtop and a similar battery has been placed as an extra under the bunk in the fore cabin for the bow thruster. Karst has also overhauled the bow thruster engine, making it more powerful and quieter after the adjustments. All in all, Karst and his colleague Edwin have worked neatly; They put rubber mats in places where there is a lot of walking so that your teak deck is not damaged. Everything that could be damaged in the boat was neatly covered in advance. I am critical and am certainly happy with the result and the way in which they worked, worthy of Hallberg-Rassy. Thanks!

Together with Karst Braaksma (Karyvo) we did an upgrade project of a Silent Submerge UV-26 DPV. A scooter from 2006 that deserved to be given a new life. These scooters are known for being reliable, but also heavy to lift. 😛 We have carried out an engine overhaul. The engine is back in balance, the accumulator is ready for many hours of use (cleaned and the brushes have been adjusted). A small adjustment was needed to make the motor more resistant to higher currents (this had partly already been done by the manufacturer). We have also replaced the existing battery pack (lead-gel batteries) with quality LiFePO4 batteries from Mastervolt. The capacity has been increased from 21Ah (not fully usable) to 30Ah (fully usable) capacity. Naturally, this includes a matching charger that will keep the new battery pack in perfect condition. The great thing about this setup is that each battery can provide power individually, so adding additional batteries provides extra scooter time 😉 Because we started working with new (lighter) batteries, we were also able to make the entire scooter lighter (from 42.7kg to 33.8kg, so almost 9kg lighter). This 9kg weight reduction includes the weight that needs to be added to prevent it from becoming too light for the volume of the scooter To prevent the entire scooter from having too much buoyancy, we were able to shorten the body by about 15 cm. Now that the scooter is technically ready, the process of balancing the scooter now begins by adding weight in specific places. Some facts: - Battery - Capacity increased from 21Ah to 30Ah - Battery technology changed from lead gel to LiFePO4 - Usage time increased from 1.5 to 3 hours - Waterproof batteries - Wiring renewed -Scooter - Weight reduced by almost 9kg (95% achieved by using different batteries) - Length reduced by 15cm - Engine overhauled - Higher speed - Better balance of the engine I thought it was a very fun project to do and I am very happy with the professional help, knowledge and materials from Karst Braaksma (Karyvo). I can certainly recommend him for such projects, he has a lot of knowledge and experience in converting such scooters. He also has the right tools to make the adjustments. The first dive has been made and all I can say is Wow 👌. Now it's time to enjoy the upgrades and modifications and that can only be done by using the scooter regularly.

Pleasant competent company. I purchased the double jet thruster system through Karyvo. I received good advice and support when installing the system myself. It's a wonder that they didn't drive me crazy because I often needed extra or different parts and advice. In short, very service-oriented and highly recommended
