Our kitchen is finished. A big big big compliment to the employees who worked with us. Very professional, super relaxed, very pleasant to have in the house. (only a little painting left, but we do that ourselves)

Trienke, the technician/installer, has done her utmost and it shows! She is very professional and also very enthusiastic and pleasant. Together with intern Maika, she delivered a top performance.

First impression was crappy company, unprofessional. The measurement of the kitchen went wrong and a kitchen that did not fit was installed. The kitchen is completely out of order, cupboard doors are crooked. It later turned out that the kitchen cabinet had been installed damaged, causing the carousel to be broken down. Agreements were not kept. The defects have now been resolved by pleasant technicians, which is why the rating has gone from 1 to 3 stars.

I am very satisfied with the installation/assembly work. Ronny is a pleasant, calm professional, thinks along and has an eye for detail. I am very happy with the result.

I will never do business with this company again. Everything that could possibly go wrong with the installation of a simple Ikea kitchen went wrong. They planned the installation for four days. After two days, the installers walked out. The countertop was cut incorrectly, the upper cabinets were hung incorrectly, the extractor hood hose was pushed out through a hole, and the electrical wiring wasn't finished! (Need I go on?) The installers who came in the following months were very knowledgeable and professional. Communication with the office is absolutely terrible. They're impossible to reach by phone, and they don't return calls! And every email you send is answered with a new email. This is how they ensure you never get a proper explanation. You often have no idea who you're emailing because they don't put a name on it. All in all, the entire process—from dismantling the kitchen, adjusting the plumbing, adjusting the electrical wiring, plastering, installing, and properly finishing the kitchen to receiving a correct invoice—took over seven months. That's seriously outrageously long. Ikea recommended Van der Velde Interior Installation to us. If we buy an Ikea kitchen next week, we know one thing for sure: this Ikea service partner will definitely not be coming here again.
