Koston insulated the cavity wall and floor of our house. We got in touch with them through a collective initiative of our municipality. From the initial contact, on-site survey, quotation and the eventual insulation work, we were kept informed and they were very responsive via phone and email. Communication was excellent - due to unforeseen circumstances (bad weather), the cavity wall insulation had to be rescheduled but we were informed way in advance. The work was carried out professionally and we are very satisfied with the outcome. Koston also provided all necessary documents after the insulation work and it was easy to apply for the subsidy. Poor experience. They cancelled appointments 2x on the day of the appointment. Then expected me to wait 3 weeks for a new appointment. They didn't seem to care at all. Avoid.

It has been fifteen years since we hired Koston to insulate our crawl space. Before we placed the order, we had several phone and email contacts. The two fitters who came to install the floor insulation were so considerate as to warn us by phone that they had been delayed. Half an hour later than originally planned, the large bags of insulation granules were laid, faster than the gentlemen had planned because our crawl space is quite high at 1:40 M. The two to three days after that, the house smelled strange. A crawl space that has been damp for thirty years smells very strange when everything dries out. It resulted in savings on gas consumption and the ground floor is much more pleasant in terms of temperature. The floor largely retains its temperature in the winter, while we do not have underfloor heating. Thanks to this intervention and some additional measures, we currently have a gas consumption of 770 cubic meters. And that for a house that was built in 1979.

They do not complete the work due to force majeure. Understandable, but then not hearing from you for 3 weeks is incomprehensible. My walls are full of holes and you have to call/email them yourself without success. When you finally get someone on the phone, it is half threatening and without any empathy for your situation. Stay far away from this company!
