After the initial inspection, I felt good about the contact. Not too businesslike, but just a friendly atmosphere. I signed the contract immediately, and they asked if they could possibly come by sooner if something went wrong. Today, two weeks after the inspection, the phone rang, saying they could be there in an hour and a half. I quickly went home and cleared the facade around the house. The guys were super nice, hard workers, and they were very responsive to the children. They were very cheerful. We have a very drafty house, and after just a few hours, we noticed a noticeable reduction in the amount of cold air leaking in through all the window frames, etc. The smell of the glue has also completely disappeared with minimal ventilation. Formidable insulation company. Honest advice, we have your best interests at heart. The customer is still central at Isogroen. As I type this, I'm feeling warm. It was very cold in our house. It cooled down quickly at night, especially in the nursery. An appointment was made quickly. Wim came by and quickly discovered that our glass wool insulation had been pulverized. Spraying was the cheapest option, but Isogroen did not do that. Wim honestly gave me the name, telephone number and cost estimate of a competitor. The best option was to remove the glass wool completely (not the nicest job) and then inject EPS plus beads. We did the latter and don't regret it for a moment. Spraying glass wool was less than half the money. How well would it insulate? How long will it last then? Ultimately, the Isogroen men finished the job today. They were right on time. Politely asked if they could go to the toilet, or if they could eat inside because it was raining heavily. Always take off their shoes and wear a towel when sitting on a chair. Job done well, holes well finished and everything neatly tidied up. Old-fashioned good.
