I installed groundsheets for a crawl space myself, ordering them from Tonzon. First of all, the order was much later than planned. So I had to pick them up myself in the Netherlands (a four-hour drive one way...). I had already arranged for someone to install them at home, something you can't just move. This concerns a wet crawl space of 100 square meters. Then I installed them in the crawl space. This went reasonably well. After a week, I noticed water on the groundsheets. After investigating, it turned out to be due to tiny holes in the sheeting from the installation. Nothing else had been changed, and no one had been in the crawl space. So, conclusion: The groundsheets are there for nothing and are too fragile. So, money wasted. The holes are so small and impossible to find that this is a hopeless task. I sent an email to Tonzon to inquire about a solution. I received no response whatsoever. My honest opinion? Stay away from this company.

The entire floor insulation has come loose from the floor. Moisture from the side walls has caused the entire air pockets to collapse/rupture. Not suitable for a corner house in an area with lots of greenery around the house and a river nearby. I had indicated in advance that my crawl space was very damp. That wouldn't be a problem. Water cannot escape through the floor foil. Divestment for me. Technician was friendly. It somehow works for neighbors further in the neighborhood. They have a terraced house. And they live a little deeper in the neighborhood.

We had Tonzon floor insulation installed last year, but we did not get the comfortable floor we expected. Serveis has applied and checked it, but the floor is still cold.

Just spoke to these people on the phone, unfortunately the company can't say whether something has been sent, and when it will arrive. So don't assume that you will have it the next day, then you better order it from Gamma. According to them it can take a week before it arrives. Also no free shipping above 20 euros as promised via the link page.

Our house built in 1994 (Rc 2.5 all around) is gas-free this year, partly due to the Tonzon foil under the floor and on the ground. The thermal cushions really work, and it is bone dry in the crawl space. Definitely recommended! Wiersma Barsingerhorn as installation partner. Also great! We are very satisfied.
