We don't often write online to share negative experiences, but we're doing so now so that others considering working with Pellikaan can benefit. In our experience, Pellikaan appears to be unskilled in gate installation, their work is sloppy, and when we do discuss this, their communication is downright rude. The gate we installed (about 3-4 years ago) spans a large area over the driveway, and despite our concerns that this might lead to a misalignment, Pellikaan claimed no action was necessary. In practice, it turned out that after just a few months, the gate would no longer close properly. The gate was also not neatly finished, and the workmanship was sloppy. Since then, we've been in a period where Pelikaan has had to come regularly for repairs, which have also resulted in expensive bills without prior consultation. After the last round of repairs, we contacted them about a substantial bill that arrived unexpectedly. This contact ended in a phone call from the owner. For us, the cup is full.
