Today we went on a search for Heringbone / Fishbone parket flooring. After 400km and visiting many Kilo-Knallers and Plof-Kippen whole sale stores of wood floors. We arrived by Riga. Finally a decent store with professionals and know-how. If a tight budget is the only thing, Riga might be just out of budget. If Amsterdam living is your thing, Riga is the best flooring specialist with the most experience of all floor stores in Amsterdam. Without any doubt. We bought the Fishbone floor in 62,5 cm x 12,5 cm. High quality flooring, no ridges, no visible seams and very easy to lay and join together by hand, as easy as click. A joy to work with.

In juni een mooie houten vloer door Riga laten plaatsen. Ook meteen de trap door hen laten bekleden met houten panelen. We zijn nu 9 maanden verder en de vloer is nog steeds prachtig en ik ben ik er nog steeds heel blij mee. Een maand geleden had ik zwarte vlekken in de vloer door roestige schaatsijzer. (Zal je altijd zien, hebben we eindelijk echt winterweer met sneeuwpret en schaatsplezier, en dan laat het sporen na op mijn mooie houten vloer). De vlekken gingen niet meer weg met water, zeep en een schuursponsje. Na contact te hebben gehad met Riga, heb ik de Woca Neutralizer bij hen gekocht. In eerste instantie ging er iets mis met het verzenden, maar uiteindelijk kwam het pakketje toch aan. De Neutralizer direct op de zwarte strepen gesprayd en binnen 45 minuten waren ze verdwenen. Ook nu weer blij met de topservice van Riga!! Bedankt mannen! 😊

In one word: Excellence! Riga simply did an amazing job in brainstorming, communicating, execution and service. One top of that they were very hard to beat when it comes to price quality. I would highly recommend Riga.

Scammers - avoid at all costs. The other reviews must have been bought. I fell for them unfortunately and was scammed by this company. They came to check my floor to see if they could restore it “like new”. They said everything checked out and I paid the full amount up front. They ruined my floor and left it behind with irreparable damage - their heavy machine and unprofessional workers (one extremely young) left many holes and tore slats of wood apart. They said they would come back to fill the holes and replace the broken slats. When I emailed to ask when this would happen, they said they didn’t have the slats in stock and that was it. I feel like I was robbed. See photos for how they left my floor. Avoid this company at all costs - they will charge you to damage your property. There are many better honorable alternatives in Amsterdam. Riga Vloeren is a scam.

Great customer service, very friendly and honest. They also work with you to come up with the best idea for your home. Would highly recommend if you are looking for new flooring!
