tweede update: Van de week heeft het bedrijf het handvat van de deur vervangen en de deur naar behoren afgesteld. Kreeg ook de indruk dat hij echt z'n best heeft gedaan om het vertrouwen weer terug te winnen. In ieder geval is alles netjes hersteld. Een Update: De zoon heeft me zojuist gebeld en vertelde een en ander over de afwikkeling in verband met het overlijden. Fijn dat er contact is geweest en heeft ook inmiddels een nieuwe handgreep besteld. Over vier weken moet het allemaal verholpen zijn. Hij vertelde dat hij dit kon combineren met een andere afspraak. We gaan van het positieve uit. Afgelopen september zijn mijn deur en twee kozijnen geïnstalleerd. Het slot werkte niet goed, maar er werd direct een nieuwe besteld. Ik was tevreden. Totdat ik 's avonds thuiskwam en het licht van de hal door de zijkant van de deur scheen en zag dat de deur helemaal scheef was geïnstalleerd. Melding van gemaakt en vertelde men mij dat dit zou kunnen worden opgelost als we hun aflevering hadden in de regio. Dat vond ik prima. Maar het duurde toch wel erg lang en ondertussen begon ook het handvat aan de buitenkant te roesten. Gebeld en gemaild maar geen reactie. Nu las ik hier dat meneer was overleden en begreep ik wel waarom men even uit de lucht was. Maar nu eind februari ben ik zelf maar daarnaartoe gereden. Twee uur heen en twee uur terug nam ik op de koop toe. Ik zag op het raam dat er een ander telefoonnummer was om te bellen, maar er wordt gewoon niet opgenomen. Ook wordt er niet gereageerd op de mail. Ik voel mij behoorlijk in de maling genomen. Het gaat nou eenmaal niet om een pakje boter.

This shop is a bit crowded and cluttered; it's a shame he doesn't have the space to display his products better. The prices are absurdly low; I got a plastic door for my stable here for €295. The only downside is that you can't pay by card, although there's an ATM down the road.

We are very dissatisfied with the installation of our front door by Transparant Bouw. The door is poorly installed and leaks, allowing water to enter from both above and below. Three years have passed and still no solution has been provided. The service is downright worthless and the work provided can only be described as shoddy work. I strongly advise everyone against purchasing a door from Transparant Bouw. We have implemented all advice from transparent construction to resolve the leak, but it continues to leak. We have lost thousands of euros because of these bastards. The door that was originally there has been there for 25 years and we have never had any problems! See attached photos!

Does this company still exist? Transparantbouw and deurenramen seem to be owned by the same person and are located at the same address. I ordered and paid for a door. Then there is no response. Phone is not answered, no response to emails.

April 2024 purchased new front door. Information and explanation in the showroom was excellent. The appointment for installation went a bit slower because the first appointment had to be rescheduled due to transparent construction, which of course can happen. But making the new appointment was a bit more difficult because they were difficult to reach. Because I had to make an appointment with the plasterer and this could only be done after the front door had been installed, I ultimately went back to the company myself to schedule a new appointment on the spot. A few days later I suddenly received an appointment by email, it was not the same appointment as made on the spot so now suddenly 2 dates. No longer being able to get in touch to find out which one was the right one, luckily the technicians came on the first date. Technicians were top notch and worked quickly and neatly. Now we are about six months further and the outside door handle is starting to rust in various places, which should not be the case since it is said to be made of stainless steel. Of course, Transparent Construction itself cannot do anything about this, as they also purchase the doors from a supplier. But I have been calling and emailing for 2 weeks now to resolve this, but I have not received any contact. Always voicemail on the landline and mobile number, both left with a request to call back. No results so far. Also sent direct mail with photos of the handle, no response either. I will drive to the business again soon in the hope of being able to speak to someone there. Not what you expect from a company. Update January 27, 2025. Last Friday I visited the business. Unfortunately everything is dark and the mailbox will be full of mail. It looked like no one had been there for a while. The owner's WhatsApp also indicates that he was last online on December 27. So not good signals. Updated 06-02-2025 Received an email from the son last night. His father passed away in December, which is why the company was inaccessible for some time. Sad news and therefore also an excuse to understand. Son has now started to resume work. With regard to the door handle, he offered to send a new one out of goodwill, which I am happy with. The rating has therefore been adjusted to 5 stars and I wish the son a lot of strength with the loss of his father and also with taking up work.
