Roovers Riool Reiniging V.O.F.

Yesterday I called this gentleman to explain that there was a blockage at my house. We agreed that it would cost €110 to fix the problem. He indicated that if it took longer than an hour, he would be charged €80 per additional hour, including VAT. The gentleman came by and tried to clear the blockage in the first seven minutes, but he couldn't do it... Moreover, he left dirt everywhere, and the problem was still not solved. When he then asked for his money, my brother said that he had not worked for even ten minutes and that the blockage was still there. This led to a discussion between my brother and the gentleman, after which the gentleman started to behave unfriendly and angry. My brother, who was home alone with my mother, tried to keep the situation under control. My brother suggested to pay half the amount, because at least the gentleman had come, but had not solved the problem. However, the gentleman felt that this was not the agreement and became angry. In the end my brother gave him the full amount of €110, and he did not receive an invoice or receipt. When he asked, the gentleman said he had to pay €130 for it. Unfortunately, I was not at home because of an important appointment, so I heard this afterwards from my brother. But if I had been there, he wouldn't have gotten a cent because he didn't keep his appointment. He spent less than twelve minutes in total (both working and discussing), yet we had to pay €110. That's ridiculous. On the same day I had an appointment with another man. He came by, worked for 25 minutes and cleared the blockage. This only cost me €80.

Wij hebben Roovers ingeschakeld om een rioolinspectie met camera uit te voeren bij mijn ouders, zodat onze aannemer zou weten hoe hij verder moest. De kosten zouden 110,- zijn. Uurloon 100,- Maar meneer hoefde niet te inspecteren. Hij spoelde de wc door, ging naar het lek in de kelder kijken en wist meteen te zeggen dat de riolering stuk was. (Ja, duhh, dat wisten wij al!) Na dit "werk"van nog geen 15 minuten moesten mijn ouders € 100,- afrekenen. Zonder factuur, want dat doen ze niet voor particulieren. Contant of pinnen! Daarna uiteraard meteen gebeld met klachten over deze prijs voor niks (waarom één uur rekenen als er maar 15 minuten gewerkt is?) en over dat hij zich niet aan de opdracht had gehouden. Hij beklaagde zich omdat hij zo lang op zijn centjes had moeten wachten omdat mijn ouders (85 en 87 jaar) zo lang over de pinbetaling deden. Als dit bedrijf kapot gaat snap ik dat heel goed. Klanttevredenheid en eerlijkheid mist absoluut op hun agenda!

Only praise for this company. Arrive quickly on site. Friendly, thoughtful and also give honest advice. And let's be honest, getting a quote in advance is very difficult. They also don't know what they will encounter. I would also like to comment on the people with a negative review. They leave mess behind. They are not cleaning helpers. I'm glad your sewer is open. And if your floor is damaged, sometimes it cannot be remedied with that heavy material. After all, you have insurance for that. Let's stay realistic. I am super satisfied.
