Martijn was a star, coming by on very short notice to check up on a suspected gas leak at our house. He was very knowledgeable on how to handle and solve the situation and could communicate perfectly in English. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber or to check on gas pipes.

Martijn is a professional plumber with complete integrity! He is professional, super responsive, clear in communication and fluent in English. I’m very happy with his help. I had a leaking toilet this week. The first plumber we found via Zoofy told us to demolish the whole flushing system and we weren’t sure about his reliability. We then found Appel loodgieters, he picked up the phone in no time and made time to come for a check the next day. After checking, he advices us to order some components and change it ourselves, instead of demolishing and replacing the entire system. In the end, toilet was fixed and we saved thousands of euros, thanks to his advice!

I had an emergency situation and Martijn was very quick and efficient to come and define next steps (no emergent repair has been required). So 2 stars are for being available in short time and being clean. I cannot give all 5 stars since: the service provided was too pricey for the time spent and work done (one pipe has been replaced under the bathtub, more than 600 euro); finishing has been destroyed and we discussed to restore the finishing, though despite chasing several times, I have never received an offer / quotation to complete the finishing.
