Following a previously reported defect in our roller shutter that the slats do not roll properly, whereby the slats make a flapping sound. The owner of Remason, Hans Knoop, responded that this is normal. I indicated that this was not the case with the roller shutters of my neighbours (purchased from another company) and that they have had the roller shutters for 10 years and we have only had them for 2 years. They did nothing further with it, to our great disappointment. They then had to replace a side due to oxidation of the paint, and I indicated that there was also damage to the mechanism. The response we first received was that it was dirt (which was not the case), then the owner Hans Knoop indicated that it was wear and tear. Which is very strange after 2 years. They then got into the car without further discussion and then drove away in an antisocial manner. I cannot believe that these types of companies are on the market. They are cheap. But now I understand why. Quality is not... To my surprise I see that the reviews with 5 stars are acquaintances of this owner. I do not write a review quickly. But a warned person counts for 2.

Satisfied at first, but upon closer inspection, it seems sloppy and rushed. The purpose of a screen is to keep insects out. He installed some screens in our house with a gap of about a centimeter between the frame and the top of the screen. Very stupid, of course, because then the screen is of little use. We see large beetles and spiders crawling right through. I've corrected it myself now. It seems rushed and careless. You hire a professional for a reason. In hindsight, I should have done it myself; measured myself and ordered the screens online. Sealed the sides myself if necessary. It would have saved me a lot of money, and I recommend it to everyone. The quality of the screens isn't good either; the mesh keeps moving out of place when you raise or lower the screen insert. In addition, smaller insects crawl right through the screen. Flies or ants, for example. We also have two pleated screens; Just as bad. The screen isn't completely closed at the bottom; insects crawl through it every day. This seller's argument: "No screen is 100% sealed." Well, these screens aren't even 50% sealed. Be warned: don't buy screens here.
