It takes two years before I really understand what Lumadesq products exactly mean. Because I know 'outdoor sun blinds', but 'indoor sun blinds' are those ugly screens, right? Or those thick panels that you can barely see through? I was wrong! Indoor sun blinds from Lumadesq are compact cassettes that are available in any RAL color. Perfectly matching the interior or the colors of the frame. My design heart skips a beat with happiness and I order five pieces for my home in Oostzaan. The intake was scheduled for three to four o'clock in the afternoon, but Menno, with his good advice, extensive options and various colors, was only out the door at 6 p.m.! Six months later we move to Zaandijk and there I design a design studio / office at the front of the house. The 5-meter-high glass facade is a real eye-catcher, but also a gigantic greenhouse when the sun shines on it. Lumadesq's promise '7 degrees less heat inside' is more than fulfilled because after half a day of installation the temperature immediately drops. Because we are not allowed to adjust or add anything to the outside of the building, interior sun blinds are the only way. Menno's team works quickly, accurately and to measure - because the rails, cassettes and lengths fit perfectly in our 60-year-old building. My parents see what a good solution that is and in the meantime they, like seven other neighbors, have installed the Lumadesq indoor sun blinds. We conclude this testimony by sharing my experience with you last week. Due to my own actions, one of the sun blinds falls out of its holder and the cassette breaks off at one point. As a result, the sun blinds no longer fit properly into the rails and I expected that I would have to wait a few weeks for the part and have to pay call-out costs, labor and materials. But nothing could be further from the truth! I call Menno, we meet in a few days and before my cup of coffee is finished the sun blinds are back in place. An extra hole is drilled so that I can no longer tap the sun blind out of its holder. As icing on the cake, the screw is painted in RAL 7016, so that this screw blends in with the anthracite color of the frame. When Menno wants to leave the house I ask “how much should all this cost?” to which Menno answers with a smile: “nothing, that is part of our service”. “Wow!” In addition to being an inspiring BNI colleague, you are an incredibly nice person, you have a wonderful company that really goes beyond what the customer expects and your indoor sun blinds are a beautiful product. Menno is a cool frog and the sun in the house. Lumadesq has a personal approach, delivers precise customization and is the perfect solution for cooling offices, healthcare institutions and schools. Our sun blinds were measured very precisely by Menno and then installed quickly and professionally by Dennis. We are completely satisfied with it. The sun blinds hang neatly and are very easy to operate. And most importantly: it now stays nice and cool in our living room!
