Advice and service squared that is what Roger delivers. Roger came to help us when our zone control supplier failed. He did the entire installation, solved all kinds of problems. He only let us go when everything was working fine. And he did much more! Taught me about the system so that I understand how it works and can work with it. Through a good friend, we ended up at Roger Groteclaes for advice on sustainability. Roger recommended a very handy zone system for the radiators so that you can set the temperature precisely per room. He installed this zone control himself and explained to us in detail how it works. You can monitor everything via an app and adjust it where necessary. It is a very easy and functional system with which you will save on energy consumption. On his advice, we also purchased a heat pump boiler for heating the tap and shower water. An energy-efficient device that largely gets its energy during the day via the solar panels. On his advice, we installed two air conditioners in the attic. Very handy because they can heat in the winter and cool in the summer. This allows us to make optimal use of the spaces. These also largely work on the solar panels. Roger has a lot of knowledge of the current possibilities, a lot of patience and works very accurately. We are very satisfied with the advice and the result!

We had moisture problems in our bathroom and had to do something in terms of extraction, but also with the heating. The plumber indicated that he could not offer a solution in the current situation, except for another radiator (infrared or electric). Luckily he also had Roger's phone number for me. Roger came to visit us and listened to the situation and studied it thoroughly. He has provided a solution with the Honeywell Evohome system. This way we can set all zones (read most heaters) separately in terms of temperature, including the bathroom heating. This way we can heat the heating extra compared to other rooms. During the installation, Roger also looked at the settings of our central heating boiler and adjusted the heating systems on the water side. In this way he also helps to reduce our energy consumption. In addition, I have already been able to use his good aftersales 😉

At the beginning of 2023 we had air conditioning installed to heat our living room. This created a situation where the thermostat of the central heating system, which was also installed in the living room, no longer switched on and other rooms such as the work and study room, the kitchen and the bathroom were no longer heated by the central heating system. I have presented this situation to a number of (central heating) installers. Unfortunately I never got a satisfactory answer to this. Ultimately, I posted my question in a Facebook group. Roger responded to my question and suggested the Honeywell Evohome system. This would allow me to control the central heating individually in each room in my house as needed, both in terms of time and temperature. That seemed like something to me. Roger came to see the situation on site. Since the central heating system dates from 1974, it was necessary to replace some fitting work to install the Evohome system and to adjust the radiators. Roger ultimately completed this job in 1 day in the spring. Then we had to wait for the cold weather. When we actually put the air conditioning and central heating combination into operation, it turned out that some adjustment work was still necessary to optimize things. One phone call to Roger was enough. The existing central heating system, which is almost 50 years old, and which had undergone some changes over time, had a number of challenges that required some extra attention. It became clear that Roger does not choose the easiest route, but that results come first and that an hour of (free) additional work is not considered. There was clear communication throughout the process, the quotation was clear and despite unforeseen additional work afterwards, there were no surprises. Phones and emails were responded to quickly and appointments could be scheduled quickly. We have been using Evohome for some time now with satisfaction and it is an excellent addition to the air conditioning.
