On and on to professionalism! We highly recommend Paauwe painting company. Received good and thorough advice about the options with the quotation and personal interview. Paauwe tackles everything thoroughly for a long-lasting good result! Very professional company where the painters themselves also set the bar high, if a result is not 100% to their liking they will repeat it. They are clearly proud of the result and rightly so. The contractor company was contacted quickly when parts of the frame needed to be replaced, so that the work was not delayed. Painters and carpenters were neat and hard workers who cleaned up everything neatly, our compliments!

Four years ago, I signed a painting contract with GlansGarant through an advertisement. Paauwe Painting Company from Serooskerke came by to inspect the work, discuss it, and provide a quote. They told me it would be an expensive quote because of the maintenance required for the decorative shutters, which are very time-consuming. I'm completely dissatisfied with the painting work. The painter came last July 4th (see photos of the results after his visit). I was reasonably satisfied during the first year (the renovation), but in the years that followed, I was amazed at how things were handled. The painter comes by in the evening and within an hour, he's inspected, sanded, primed, and finished the job. He never inspected the upstairs windows or the eaves. This year, I asked him to inspect the upstairs windows, which he did from inside. I feel I'm paying a lot of money for this poor service. I've since canceled the contract. Paauwe Painting Company (I sent them the same photos) said they couldn't do anything anymore because I canceled the contract. He said he'd been sidelined. He said the shutters couldn't be properly painted; the cracks would keep coming back because paint isn't a glue, according to him. He couldn't do anything about the discoloration of the paint caused by the sun either. He said he could have repaired the door with "Repair Care." I contacted "Repair Care" and sent them the photos, asking if the shutters could be repaired. I received a very clear explanation over the phone that there are indeed products to permanently repair this and how to do it. I asked if this would last, and the answer was that the shutters would outlast the house and that they would never crack again. Paauwe Painting Company is therefore familiar with "Repair Care," but they neglected to treat the shutters with it in the first year. I also sent the photos and my story to GlansGarant. Their response was that I had to discuss it with the painter. GlansGarant promises on their website: -A perfectly painted house year after year.
