In the summer of 2024, H. Scheffer replaced the roof of our house and shed. All the windows around the house were also replaced with HR++ glass. In the preliminary phase, I contacted several contractors in the area for quotes. When I received the quote from H. Scheffer, I was immediately struck by their professionalism: the quote clearly outlined the various prices and explained the work and deliverables. We consulted with the contractor several times about various options and the required budget. The contractor took the time (and time) to present everything and recalculate it. Work began in the summer: first, the roof had to be repaired (it was covered with asbestos sheeting). Then came the construction and replacement. The windows around the house were also replaced within two weeks. We experienced minimal disruption during the work: everything was very well coordinated and communicated with us. I contacted Scheffer because I wanted to make my house more sustainable. I had already made some plans, so I contacted them. They were aware of the subsidies. After an assessment/inspection at my home, I received a quote for the roof insulation. By then, I had already chosen a different company because of the window frames (I preferred uPVC over wood). This wasn't a problem. When I decided after a while that I'd also like a new skylight, they were able to add one quickly. After accepting the quote, there was a short wait before the work could be carried out. I wasn't in a hurry. I thought the roof insulation would mainly save on heating costs in the winter. The work began in early July. Everything went smoothly, and where consultation was necessary, there was good communication. After the work was completed, I was immediately very satisfied. It was completed as agreed (I'll fill, seal, and paint holes myself). It looks great, and the completion went smoothly (there were no surprises with the invoice). While I used to sweat every time I climbed the stairs to the attic in the summer, I immediately noticed it was much cooler. I hadn't really considered that, but it's a huge added benefit. All in all, I'm very satisfied. Communication was clear, they delivered good work at a good price, and there were no nasty surprises afterward. I'm very happy with my choice of Scheffer!

Construction company H. Scheffer carried out the renovation work for us, this was done to everyone's satisfaction. The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. The communication is very smooth and pleasant. I would definitely recommend construction company H. Scheffer.

Update My wife is still trying to sort things out with the company. A sliding door that has not worked from day 1 and you always want to have it resolved. The boss's son doesn't want it and continues to lie. Stick to the facts junior! The staff and suppliers were even threatened. Fact; Contact with suppliers was via Scheffer and we have not had any contact with them and never have since. Except for one bankrupt subcontractor who did not have a good word to say about Scheffer. Despite the issues with junior, we gave the staff who worked here an envelope with contents on the last day and they always treated them very correctly. Come up with better excuses to get out of warranty provisions. Another wise lesson for junior “no matter how fast the lie is, the truth will catch up” Have it renovated for more than €100,000 and my advice is to find a different and reliable contractor. I could now write a book about it and just mention a few points. Calculate subsidies in the quotation process that do not apply. Leakage in new carport and it has now been a year and has not been resolved Sliding doors on extension do not function. It runs so smoothly that it can hardly be opened by, for example, a child, grandmother or wife. The new front door closes poorly with a noise and there is such a large gap that the hall cannot be heated. Will add photos every week. This is the new front door with a large gap and has already been adjusted several times. Issue with new door in living room causing the handle to regularly hang loose Etc etc etc All already noted during final delivery but not resolved. Of course, from a friendly request to ultimately a very angry and emotional demand to solve the problem, but then the nice weather talker (the boss's son) no longer responds.

Neat interior frames delivered, were good and neat to attach to existing walls, but also good to brick into new walls. Solid quality, straight and neatly primed. Contact went well
