ProStairs Stair Renovation You are now bombarded with all kinds of companies that do stair renovation. The competition is really cutthroat. That makes it difficult to choose. Reading reviews is a good option. Do you go for a nationally known company, do you quickly pay the main price or do you want a cheaper but good quality? But where do you find that? We requested three quotes and were amazed by some of the different prices. And certainly also by the qualities. Especially a lot of plastics. A staircase can be covered with, for example, vinyl and laminate types in a wood look. With or without terribly ugly corner/coupling pieces of black plastic or otherwise. We preferred a natural wood product. ProStairs was one of our quote requests and they work with wooden treads in different colors and designs. The salesperson was able to visit our address quite quickly with his suitcase full of wood samples and after measuring, a clear and interesting quote for our two staircases (an open and closed one) was quickly and businesslike concluded. Everything is prepared and made in their own factory in Bunschoten. About four months later the fitter was at our door. Our long story short: the steps are made of glued multiplex with an oak top layer in the desired oil stain. Outside next to our house everything was sawn to size and then neatly glued inside. In our case the result was above expectations. The friendly fitter on duty (DG.) was a stickler for detail and ensured a beautiful result in two full days. A beautiful staircase made. All this in just one day. From viewing to receiving a quote, everything was arranged very quickly. It was a major renovation, so it took a while before they could come. But once the schedule became clearer, the installation appointment was quickly arranged. Once again, excellent work from this company. Agreements were well kept.
