In one word FANTASTIC! Dirk laid the floor for us and renovated two stairs in a beautiful oak style (that Dirk came up with) and we are still very happy with it every day. Dirk is truly a professional through and through and I would recommend everyone to have Dirk install the floor or stairs. We receive a compliment about the stairs every week, it really is done to perfection. Dirk we can't thank you enough. And it is not unimportant that they also charge reasonable prices for this extremely high quality. It was more than worth every euro. If we ever move again, Dirk will be the first person we call! 🙏🏻

Karakter has laid a laborious herringbone carpet floor in our new house. We are very happy with the work that Karakter has done. Dirk and Paul think along with us, are easily accessible, attentive and flexible in the event of setbacks (such as a moisture problem in the subfloor that caused the necessary delay and extra work). Without Karakter we would not have been able to complete our renovation on time. No less important: the floor was laid accurately and professionally and has become very beautiful. Many thanks!

We purchased a Corestone floor from Karakter Vloeren in 2017. Upon delivery, we noticed visible rings in the floor. These were likely caused by the installer repeatedly moving his bucket while finishing the floor and leaving it on the floor for too long. Furthermore, the floor wasn't laid as evenly as promised. Furthermore, nothing was masked off or covered during installation, causing unnecessary damage to window frames and walls. Two weeks after installation, bubbles appeared in the floor. After contacting both the manufacturer of Corestone and Karakter Vloeren, they decided to re-lay the floor. The installer was once again sloppy, and rings were visible again. The floor was ultimately laid on one floor by a Corestone installer. On the upper floor, the bubbles were repaired in an amateurish manner (due to color discrepancies and different materials). In the basement, the second layer applied by Karakter Vloeren was far too coarse and sloppy. We never received an apology or a bouquet of flowers. All damage caused during installation has still not been repaired after three years, despite the promise. The service was terrible, and we didn't feel taken seriously throughout the entire process.
