After 10 years, our solid oak floor was ready for a makeover. Called Vloeroptimaal and made an appointment with Marcel who, after examining the floor, provided us with advice. It was decided to mill (seams), sand and polish and then provide the floor with an oil-based top layer. This is a finish that we can maintain ourselves. The work was carried out professionally and agreements were fulfilled excellently. The floor has been beautifully renovated and fitted with new skirting boards. We have redecorated the ground floor and are now walking on a beautiful, new-looking oak floor. 100% satisfied! A. Venhuis Hank

We have had very bad experiences with Vloeroptimaal. The advice from Vloeroptimaal was not sufficient for a professional. Vloeroptimal did not tell us that color advice should actually be done on the floor itself because each wood has separate properties - advice based on samples as provided by Vloeroptimal is not professional. Unfortunately, we relied on that. So we ultimately had to have the floors re-teared and re-oiled in two rooms because the color we chose based on the Floor Optimal samples (light gray) on our floor was dark brown/black. But what was even worse, Vloeroptimaal let us down: An employee looked at the floor and gave us a quote, which we accepted. However, on the day of execution, Vloeroptimaal left the house after 2 hours without consulting us. Only later did we receive a phone call that the key is in the letterbox and that they would not be able to carry out the work - the nails would be too large and therefore tearing the floor would be impossible. That was nonsense, another company could have done that without any problems. However, it later turned out that Vloeroptimaal's quote was based on 2 days of work and that was an error - it ultimately took 4.5 days. It appears that Vloeroptimaal saw this on the first day and therefore did not carry out the work. I expect a good company to speak to me instead of leaving. Vloeroptimaal's behavior cost us a lot of money and stress because we had to find another company at short notice due to the move and had to arrange a lot ourselves. So: Vloeroptimal is not reliable, unfair, gives bad advice and we certainly do not recommend them.

After clear advice from Marcel, the existing floor was sanded and varnished, and new skirting boards were also installed. Result exceeds all expectations. Real craftsmanship delivered!!!
