Woodstep installed completely new oak floors for our apartment and we’re really satisfied with the results. They were smart and proactive in finding solutions, super dedicated to making the finishing result proper and high-quality. The entire process from first contact, then receiving advice on the best option for my floors and the work itself was smooth and very quick as well. The work that Cesar and Kadir did at my place was amazing - the wooden floors look like brand new. I even got tips on how to take care of the floors after the work has been finished so the life of the floor can be extended as much as possible.

I have very mixed feelings about our experience with Woodstep. In the end, it looks and feels nice. But it took quite a bit of time to get to the end. A Woodstep technician came over to sand and varnish our floor (Skylt 2-component varnish) in early May 2021. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. I let him in and trusted that it would be done properly. When I came back to the house the next day, it was badly done. The floor had not been cleaned after sanding, so there were lots of wood particles and chips UNDER the varnish. Walking barefoot on the floor felt like walking on a dirty floor, and the wood chips were stuck under a layer of hard varnish. I complained to Woodstep, and they scheduled a repair - but their schedule was full, and it was not able to be fixed for almost 1 month after the complaint. Because of this, we had to delay moving into our new house - and this delay ended up being quite expensive for us. That said... they sent the same technician back to re-do the floor, and he did a MUCH better job the 2nd time around. I'm not sure why it didn't go right the first time, but he did fix it properly on the second visit. We are happy with how the floor turned out in the end. In summary - we thought woodstep's relatively good ratings and low prices were attractive. But in the end, it ended up costing us a LOT more than other competitors, simply because of the delay in getting it fixed. I think they are capable of doing a decent job, but I would recommend being there the entire time that they are doing work. Maybe I just got unlucky.

Woodstep came to renovate the floor in my house and did a great job. After noticing some defects in the treatment they were fully supportive and came back to fix the issue and I'm very satisfied with the result. Great company

Horrible experience Woodstep was hired to sand and oil an old bamboo floor and a brand new bamboo floor. The old floor has many spots where they didnt sand and oil it well while the brand new floor had to be sanded 3(!!!!) times and the result is unacceptable. They also accidentally sanded the bedroom floor which was not to be worked on... Total damage done is more than 800 euros and i paid them around 1000 euros. T hey promised to compensate financially, but in the end they sent me some floor transitions and and oil can that according to them they are all worth 500+ euros. I am currently filling an official complaint with De Geschillencommissie. Summary: They do not know how to work with bamboo floors and they are unreliable. Ilias Chatziathanasiou
