I can't judge their quality of service, but I can judge their level of communication. I called Drechsteden Installation Technology to ask if they would install a new distribution board for me. I immediately mentioned that my father was an electrician and could potentially do a lot himself. They responded rather nonchalantly, immediately dismissing me as not doing that. When I asked how much it would cost if I let them do it all myself, but then said I bought the distribution board myself, they even laughed and told me, "I should just call a freelancer because they're a legal company and don't do that kind of thing." They made it sound ridiculous that I'd chosen the distribution board myself (although it was one with lots of good reviews and met all my requirements, so not the first cheap one I could find). I understand that if you're primarily a customer who doesn't choose anything themselves (and are therefore used to higher order amounts), you don't want to deal with someone on a tight budget, but can't you convey that respectfully? You could simply quote a price you think is worth it, and that person will likely turn away. But such a condescending attitude is simply unprofessional and completely unnecessary. I'm giving him two stars (instead of one) because he still spoke politely to me, despite his demeanor. Another tip for the owner: if you don't want to be mistaken for a freelancer, it's wise to add an "about us" page to your website where you indicate the size of your business.

The electrician came super fast. When he saw that the problem was not with the electricity, I did not receive a bill.

I understand that if you are mainly customers who do not select anything themselves (and are therefore used to a higher order amount) that you are not interested in someone with a tight budget, but you can also convey that in a respectful way, right? You can simply give a price that you think is worth it and then that person will drop out anyway. But being so condescending is simply not professional and unnecessary. I give the 2 stars (instead of 1) because he still spoke to me politely, despite his attitude.
