Experience report Hoogendoorn Solar – Solar battery In 2019, we had solar panels installed on the rear roof. Now we thought it was time to also purchase a battery, in order to make optimal use of our solar power – especially in view of the elimination of the net metering scheme. Given the good experiences we had previously had with Hoogendoorn Solar, we saw no reason to market this project through other parties or to request multiple quotes. After a pleasant visit to the company, where everything was clearly explained while enjoying a cup of coffee, we immediately requested a quote. This quote was clear and well-arranged, and also contained several optional extensions. Even before we officially placed the order, a possible installation date was already taken into account. The installation was carried out by skilled employees of Hoogendoorn itself, who not only understand their work and language excellently, but are also correct and disciplined in their dealings. Everything was carried out according to our wishes, and leaving a tidy workplace – without dust or waste – was a given. I can sincerely recommend you to do business with this company. Yesterday I had both solar panels and a battery (from SigEnergy) installed by the Hoogendoorn company. After previous negative experiences with another supplier, I decided to choose a party from my own place of residence. This was also because I had already had positive experiences with Hoogendoorn from our previous home. From the first contact about the current installation, I was helped very professionally and friendly by Colin. I asked a lot of questions each time, and postponed the decision for some time, but I was always helped and spoken to properly. Because of my procrastination, I even received a recalculation because the panels had become cheaper. Just before I wanted to agree to this, I received another offer from Colin, with a different (better) inverter and battery. I agreed to this, and this installation has been running since yesterday. The installation was carried out very neatly. Friendly and professional fitters, I barely noticed that they were working. They did their very best to conceal the cables internally via existing pipes, and not outside via the facade. Thanks for this! It is also very nice that the fitters take off their shoes when they come in, this saves a lot of mud in the house. After the work, the place is neatly cleaned up and they vacuumed the entire room where the installation is located. I can heartily recommend Hoogendoorn and am sincerely glad that I did not do business with such a strange internet party but with a local installer. Top work delivered!
