Have had to call on Hofland several times, always quickly and professionally. Now also, problem with toilet cistern, resolved within a day.

We have had a very good experience with Hofland, which delivered a fantastic bathroom. Our requirements were adhered to and implemented in both design and implementation after a previous terrible experience with another company. Tiling sanitary facilities customer friendly simply excellent nothing but praise. Also willing to do some other work with taps in the house. We would always recommend them. Still satisfied after 1 year and no complaints.

Very nice business with very nice people! Thinking in terms of possibilities when putting together the bathroom (we had seen beautiful tiles elsewhere... they simply arranged them for us in multiple color combinations). Also during the installation itself, very nice contact with builders and always consultation with the point of contact. They work very neatly, take with them what they will use each day (so not a house full) and tidy up neatly every day. A few unforeseen problems were resolved immediately on their initiative and entirely to our satisfaction. Delivery more than neat with folder with instructions for use of the delivered goods and even a small gift. I would say: do it!

Of the (now 6) reviews, there is a five-star review from themselves. I will never give Hofland an assignment again. They charge the highest price in relation to the mediocre quality they deliver. Materials from a higher price range do not make the work quality. Hofland was once a household name in delivering quality, but unfortunately this has not been the case for at least five years. They are nice, but have a hard time admitting mistakes and almost have to complain to Erwout when another unjustified invoice has arrived. Our experience and five years later: Solar panels: Leakage (ceilings) after the first rain shower and inverter did not work on the first productive day due to a poorly installed plug, which is annoying but has been resolved "reasonably". Because they were working on the bathroom and we were going to plaster the ceiling ourselves, Erwout said, you would do that ceiling yourself, right? whether we wanted to redo the leak stains ourselves.....that kind of thing. Bathroom: They had ordered the wrong items several times and had to sit at the back each time. Meter box machines melted, I was called about this at work, I asked how much a new one would cost, Erwout said 50 euros, and then you get a bill for 250 euros?!, eventually (after proof and whining) they admitted that it was their own mistake and that they had connected the dryer and washing machine incorrectly. A few months after renovation, an electrician had to do some things again and had to sweep a bucket of grit from the meter cupboard, dust + electricity = danger Hofland!!) Central heating boiler pump became defective during work, received an invoice with a story that it was coming anyway, old boiler blah blah blah (7 years), eventually they admitted (again after proof) that it was their own mistake (filling hose connected and leaving the tap open). They were asked if they could make a cove because milling pipes would not be possible. An agreement was made about this, but they sent an invoice for additional work to make a cove?! Only after 1 of the technicians indicated that he had heard that it had not been agreed as additional work was the invoice withdrawn. Tiled in a jagged and crooked way, you can't figure it out with Hofland, after a lot of complaining a tile was reinstalled (you can see that it was possible and all the stories about this were dismissed). After a few years the thermostatic tap stopped working, another bill, only after asking whether it was not covered by Grohe's warranty because I read that on the internet, it was suddenly covered by warranty. Now five years later there was a leak due to poor sealant work, and all the plastic electrical covers were broken, Erwout came to have a look and made it seem like it would be service, like; "I'll send someone over to come and reseal and replace the caps"). (always ask what it costs). I let them know that I thought the covers were of poor quality and asked them to install different ones. Now they have installed the same fragile junk again... not "other" as I asked, pffff, I give up with Hofland and Erwout, I'm getting tired of the yes/no games. Replacing four electrical cover caps, +/- 4 meter kit, and replacing a dimmer costs 460+ euros (no, it was not made of gold). Unfortunately, I would rather leave a positive feedback for both of us. Of course, things sometimes go wrong, that shouldn't be a problem, but at Hofland it happens just a little too often, and then sending invoices for things you break yourself and deny first, that is of course not possible. Now the last assignment was finally over for me.
