Gert-Jan en Ingrid van Keukenstudio van den Bijtel zijn echte vakmensen. Ingrid is een vakvrouw met oog voor detail én is goed op de hoogte van de laatste trends op het gebied van keukens. Ze komt met goede ideeën waardoor je keuken er echt uitspringt t.o.v de rest. Gert-Jan is een vakman zoals je ze niet vaak meer tegenkomt. Hij weet waar ie over praat, is technisch goed op de hoogte, is zeer nauwkeurig, zorgvuldig en werkt zoals hij zijn eigen keuken ook zou installeren. Kortom ik beveel deze keukenzaak zeker aan!

Imagine a kitchen designer designing their own kitchen. The kitchen in which they will cook and live will have every conceivable inch of storage space, be extremely practical, have the same color cabinets and drawers inside as outside, and so on. The designer will pull out all the stops, dotting all the i's and crossing the t's. No useless front under the oven, but a drawer for plates. No white interiors for black cabinets. Not a millimeter of difference in alignment between two panels. With such perfection as a starting point, Keukenstudio Van den Bijtel ('VDB') apparently approaches every kitchen. In the Hoofddorp area, their name is the subject of enthusiastic word-of-mouth advertising. Several acquaintances had their kitchens installed by VDB, so we were able to see the results with our own eyes before making the decision ourselves, incidentally after consulting with other kitchen companies. Then the only way to experience for yourself how VDB strives to exceed expectations in every way. Hours of puzzling over the design until it was perfected resulted in some beautiful, artisanal pencil sketches. These were then developed into stunningly high-quality 3D renderings. Installation took three (!!) days, each with three (!!) craftsmen, including Gert-Jan van den Bijtel himself. It quickly became clear what that time was spent on: each component was carefully considered four times before the final installation. Apparently, VDB doesn't operate with margins for error. All appliances were not only installed but also configured and explained. We received tips for registering all the appliances. A few days after completion, we unexpectedly received a bouquet of flowers, saying, "Enjoy your new kitchen!"... it all demonstrates the lengths VDB goes to in their desire to put a smile on the customer's face. Now we have the most beautiful kitchen we could wish for, and it's not even that much more expensive than at one of the more well-known kitchen stores. Of course, with those stores, you also pay for the advertising they do. At the end of this review, I almost wish VDB had made a few mistakes, but we can't think of anything. Communication? Excellent. Design? Beautiful Italian design. Cleanliness? The rooms were left cleaner after installation than we left them. In a word, fantastic. Looking for a kitchen at a slightly higher price point? Talk to them and let them pamper you...

A bit of a shame that the website does not mention that the showroom is closed due to vacation. Sat in the car for an hour for nothing...
