In 2021, I bought a Stihl robotic lawnmower from WIJHA Hardenberg for a considerable sum of money through an unnamed garden center. After the robotic lawnmower was taken out of winter storage, it turned out the battery was faulty, and they reportedly had installed a new battery under warranty, which couldn't be verified. Things then went from bad to worse because this robotic lawnmower turned out to be a "Monday morning product." It literally stopped working at least three times a day with all sorts of different error codes. Wijha worked on it all summer and into the winter, and in early April 2023, I was told it should be fixed now, but nothing helped. After several fruitless attempts, we finally contacted Stihl Nederland. They referred us back to Wijha, saying they needed to contact Stihl to arrange a home visit for a technician. But Wijha had no intention of contacting Stihl. We were literally sent from pillar to post by Wijha and treated with very poor customer service in recent months. Either the technician was sick, on a customer visit, or on holiday, but there was no further contact. Returning calls was also out of the question, in short, poor service. I'm putting this mildly, but it's completely inaccurate that I wasn't and haven't been helped adequately. Disgraceful. The garden center in question has now decided to provide me with a new Stihl robot mower from a different supplier because neither WIJHA nor STIHL want to help me, despite Stihl's positive TV commercials. With my legal assistance, I've decided not to pursue this further, as it has to do with my health. I have a heart condition and can no longer cope emotionally with this kind of stress and injustice. I expected better service, but unfortunately, I won't be seeing WIJHA again. That's no way to treat customers.
