Called and emailed several times. Didn't call back twice. Really tried to become a customer. Too bad, I was a customer in the past, it was a good company. Doesn't come across as customer friendly this way.

After years of being a satisfied customer, I have completely dropped out of the installation company Van der Bom!! In particular, the way this company is now managed has made me decide that I no longer want to use their services. When you call, you get a friendly lady on the line who unfortunately has no business knowledge. So when I explain what I am calling for, I am referred to the 'planner'... and he is only present on Mondays and Fridays. The best man called back on Friday (it's been 5 days already...), but I couldn't hear him because of the noise in the background! (Read: children screaming in the background) Received a request to call back on Monday... On Monday I was unable to call back during office hours (I work 24/7 in shifts) so it became Friday again. My question was whether I could get a technician to hang my central heating plate in the bathroom. Well...that just didn't work! This 'planner' first had to come by himself to 'assess the work', then a quote would follow and if I agreed... then he would schedule a technician to come by! Okay...if this really has to be that laborious; be my guest! The 'planner' was there for about 10 minutes to tell me that I could do this myself. And I could get the necessary parts at any hardware store. Anyway, I went to three hardware stores, but in the end I bought 2 so-called tail pieces at vd Bom because those things are not available separately anywhere. It was indeed fixed that way. The following week I receive a bill for €40.54... Advice, labor and call-out costs! Good luck, but I'm dropping out!

Number 1 Unfriendly to customers!!! I called to say that there was probably something wrong with my boiler. The lady on the phone asked for my details and said that the old resident was still in their system. I explained very politely that I was the new resident. I was then told that they first had to check whether there was any room for new customers. After about 30 minutes I got another call with the following: We are currently not accepting new customers. So we cannot help you.... ??? So I said that the old resident is already in your system, if I had said that I was the old resident, would you come....? Because then I am a ''customer''... After that it was quiet on the other side. In short: THIS SHOP MUST BE CLOSED!!!!

On Friday morning I discovered that my expansion vessel was leaking. Called immediately & asked if this could be harmful since the boiler lost pressure and we are going into the weekend. Top service, provided with a new expansion vessel before the end of the day!

Unfortunately, my experience was very unfriendly to customers. I called late in the afternoon about a central heating malfunction, including no hot water. The company was then unavailable, only available via an answering machine and a mobile number. They then laconically said, "You'll be called back tomorrow for an appointment." No service, apparently no evening service, just cold water and no working heating!
